For this class you will need to start your own blog. Instead of creating a blog for just the purposes of this class, we'll be using Google+, and Google Communities. To start up a Google+ account please visit the following website. Please note that you will have access to your account information, including passwords...I will not. As a result...please don't forget this info.
Once you have created an account in Google+, it is a good idea to go in and edit your account info. This basically details exactly what will come up when someone "Googles you."
Once you have accomplished this, find me on Google+, and add me as a friend. I'll send you an invite to join our Community in Google+. We'll be using Google+, Google Docs, Hangouts, and Communities. I also am available pretty much 24/7 in Google Talk and G+...so if you need help, have a question, etc...and you see my green light...feel free to ask away.
Once I've invited you into our Community for class, please introduce yourself. Tell us about yourself, why you want to teach, hobbies, pics, etc. Let us know who you think the best teacher was that you had during your career as a student. What made them the best? Did they make you want to be a teacher...and if so...why?
Below you'll find an overview of the directions I've provided above. I also included a couple more videos below to help frame and contextualize our work in Google+ and the various other apps.
